Abstract:

PURPOSE: To keep the speed uniformity even if a stand having low speed responsiveness exists in a tandem rolling mill by setting the order stands at the high speed responsiveness without being restricted with a low speed responsiveness.
CONSTITUTION: In a 6th stand having a speed controlling system whose responsiveness is lowest, a set speed signal from a speed setting unit 12 and a speed accelerating and decelerating command signal from a speed acceleration and deceleration commanding device are inputted into a multiplying unit to calculate a speed command signal D6. In a 1st to a 5th stands capable realizing the high speed responsiveness, an actual speed correcting unit 28 to correct an actual speed signal of a motor detected on rolling stand other than own stand and a speed ratio calculating unit 30 to calculate the ratio of the own stand set speed signal to the set speed signal from the speed setting unit 12 of the stand detecting the actual speed signal are provided. The actual speed correcting signal from the real speed correcting unit 28 and the speed ratio signal from the speed ratio calculating unit 30 are inputted into the multiplying unit 16 to calculate each speed commanding signal D1 to D5 for the own stand.
