PURPOSE: To save energy by effectively utilizing energy consumed in the feeder part of a transfer press.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of reducing speed of a feed motor 12 or the like, a press acceleration command is issued from a feeder controller 18 to a press controller 19, and the regenerated energy of the feed motor 12, etc., is stored in the fly wheel 14 of the press part; also, at the time of increasing speed of a feed motor 12 or the like, a press reduction command is issued to exhaust the kinetic energy of the fly wheel to the feed motor 12 or the like. Consequently, the energy consumed at the feeder part is effectively utilized and energy consumption is saved.
