PURPOSE: To obtain a constant-quality fertilizer regardless of the wind direction or humidity in the four seasons by drying the mixed excrete on a concrete floor kept warm by the supply from a boiler.

CONSTITUTION: Air is added from the suction port of a mixing part 3, and an impeller 2 is rotated in the forward and backward direction to mix the livestock excrete contg. ≥70% water and quick lime in a reaction drum 6. The mixed excrete is allowed to flow down with the rate controlled by stop valves 10 and 13 into a passage 11 having a closely attached spiral screw 12 from a hopper 8 under the mixing part 3, and further cast over a concrete floor 30 in the longitudinal direction of a drying place 20. The floor 30 is kept warm by supplying steam into a heating coil 33 between the floor 30 and an insulating sheet 32 laid over the ground 31 from a boiler room 15. The cast excrete 200 is leveled to an appropriate thickness by reciprocating a special drier 23 in the longitudinal direction of the drying place 20, brought into plane contact with CO2 in the air and positively dried.
