Abstract:
To convey a sheet at high accuracy by easily and accurately correct unevenness of the speed of a rotational driving source when nip rollers are advanced or retreated in relation to a driving roller.
A sheet conveying device is provided with first and second roller pairs 50, 52, switch means 68a, 68b for advancing or retreating nip rollers 58a, 58b, DC motors 70a, 70b for driving the switch means 68a, 69b, detecting means 72a, 72b for detecting the rotational speed of the DC motors 70a, 70b, and a controller 14 for feedback-controlling the DC motors 70a, 70b on the basis of the rotational speed obtained by the detecting means 72a, 72b.
