PURPOSE: To enable to copy profile easily and quickly by a method wherein a flexible close-contact bag, in which aggregate for copying profile is sealed, is brought into close-contact with a body to be copied and, after that, the interior of the bag is evacuated in order to fix its shape at profile copying to determine the shape of vehicular seat or the like.
CONSTITUTION: When a human body 18 is seated on a seat 10, on which a flexible sealed bag 20 made of synthetic resin or the like is placed, for profiling the human body to determine the shape of vehicular seat, the aggregate for copying profile 22 sealed in the bag 20 is shaped by the human body. At this time, the inner pressure of the bag 20 is lowered by a vacuum pump 38 in order to fix the shape of the bag 20. The respective particles of the aggregate 22 are composed of glass foamed particles having rough surface and distributed 1W5mm in the diameter of particle, which are brought into a state strongly clamped each other without relative sliding under vacuumized condition, resulting in facilitating to release the bag 20 from the chain 10. Furthermore, the profiled aggregate is prevented from bring in disorder by lowering the inner pressure of the bag. In such a manner as described above, the copying-profile can be performed easily and quickly.
