Abstract:
To provide a method for correcting acceleration in biaxial directions detected by a biaxial acceleration sensor to acceleration in the travel direction of a vehicle and in the vertical direction.SOLUTION: A method for correcting Xs-axis acceleration and Zs-axis acceleration outputted by an acceleration sensor disposed in a vehicle includes: correcting, from the Xs-axis and Zs-axis acceleration, the effect of a pitch angle of the acceleration sensor rotating around an axis Yc facing the vehicle width direction, on the basis of the value of Xs-axis acceleration outputted by the acceleration sensor in a reference state where the vehicle is stationary on a first plane orthogonal to the vertical direction and finding first correction Xs-axis and Zs-axis acceleration; and correcting, from the first correction Zs-axis acceleration, the effect of a roll angle of the acceleration sensor rotating around an axis Xc, on the basis of the value of the Zs-axis acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor in the reference state and finding second correction Zs-axis acceleration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
