Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress temperature rise in cutting and to prevent the mesh of a side surface from dulling and fine chips from being generated by moving a shear blade along the side surface of a core, cutting coil winding that is wound around the core by force cutting, and separating the core from the coil winding.
SOLUTION: In a method for cutting coil winding, when hydraulic loading is supplied to a pressurization cylinder so that a shear blade 22 advances toward a work, the shear blade 22 travels along the side surface of the core, and the tip of the shear blade 22 strikes through coil winding 12, thus cutting the coil winding in the force cutting system. In the force cutting, when the force applied to the shear blade 22 from the pressurization cylinder is F, the cut coil winding goes upward with a component force of F1, and the core tries to escape downward with a component force of F2. However, the core is received by a core lifter 26 since the edge of the shear blade 22 is in tapered shape. Then, the reverse side of the edge located along the side surface of the core forms an escape part 22-1, thus preventing contact where the blade locally strikes through the side surface of the core.
