Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for cutting a sliver with a sliver delivery fiber machine while avoiding defects in prior art and significantly reducing the cost of the cutting device.
CONSTITUTION: Before a sliver is cut, a cut portion to be formed is pulled by a fastening device 1, a drawn portion is thus formed in the sliver 3 and the drawn portion formed is cut in the following cutting process.
