Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare the sliver end in a specified state to place sliver in a square container filled in a sliver filling station to reduce automatic handling cost of sliver end in the square container and a spinning machine during conveyance.
CONSTITUTION: The positions of a sliver conduit opening 15 of a rotary table 12, a sliver cutting device 18 and a square container 1 are adjustable to one another, and the selected adjustment has influence on a sliver deposit position in the container and the cut sliver end length.
