Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove salts contained in incineration ash or flying ash discharged from an incinerator at a low running cost by allowing a water-soluble organic solvent and cleaning water to circulate in a device.

CONSTITUTION: The subject device is equipped with a cleaning device 1 which cleans incineration ash and flying ash 7 discharged from an incinerator and dissolves salts contained in the ash in a cleaning water 8, a deposition tank 4 in which a water-soluble organic solvent 11 is added to a cleaning liquid 10 containing dissolved salts to decrease the degree of dissolution of the salts in the cleaning liquid 10 and thereby the salts of the cleaning liquid 10 are allowed to deposit, and a distillation device 6 which distills a mixture of the cleaning liquid 8 and the organic solvent 11, and returns the cleaning water 8 to the cleaning device 1 and the organic solvent 11 to the deposition device 4 respectively, thus effecting their circulation.
