Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform detaching and mixing of fibers by a simple method by ganging fiber bales of cotton and chemical fibers or the like on the basis of the characteristic data detected and stored from slivers and yarns, successively transferring, opening and mixing the fiber bales and detaching the same to the following stage.
CONSTITUTION: The characteristic data such as fineness, color and impurity content of fibers, uniformity of slibers and yarns, turbulance and imperfection of yarns, strength or length, which are automatically or semi-automatically detected by an on-line detection or a sample test on intermediate roducts and final roducts of the slibers and yarns, etc., are previously stored into a data memory. The fiber bales (A), (B), (C) of cotton and chemical fibers or the like which are identifiable by a bar code are ganged in accordance with the property data of vapor even if the fiber bales are different in a localty. The fiber bales are fed from the respective bale transferring device 13, 14, 15 into a bale group 2a on the bale transferring device 1 via a point 27 in which the bales can be freely selected by an open loop and closed loop controlling device connected with the above memory device, are opened and mixed and are detached into the following stage by a detaching device 3.
