Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent fire or the like from occurring by a method wherein when a frame rod is short circuited, a burner is forcedly ignited for a specified period of time, a hot air temperature under the forced combustion at the burner and a temperature of atmosphere before combustion are compared from each other, the ignition at the burner is confirmed and in the case that the burner is not yet ignited, a fuel injection amount is restricted.
CONSTITUTION: A frame rod voltage is measured before starting a forced combustion, and if the frame rod voltage is 1.0V or more, for example, it is discriminated that the frame rod is short circuited with a leakage current. In the case that the short circuited state of the frame rod is detected, each of the combustion driving devices such as a solenoid pump 2, a burner fan 3, an ignition transformer 6 and a proportional control nozzle 8 is operated unconditionally to ignite the burner. At this time, just after starting of the forced combustion (after about 10 seconds), a hot air temperature just after starting the forced combustion is measured by a hot air temperature sensor 10 this temperature and a temperature of atmosphere before starting the forced combustion are compared to each other, and if the temperature difference is confirmed to have more than a specified increased temperature, it is confirmed that the burner is ignited.
