Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the upward variation of the melt surface level in a melting vessel of metal material by detecting the liquid level variation in a detector lowered by the rise of duct pressure connected with a gas pipe of inert gas.
SOLUTION: The upper part of melt surface 15a in the melting vessel of metal material and the upper part of liquid level 17a of detection liquid 17 in a detector 16 made of transparent cylinder vessel 18 are connected via the gas pipe 13 of inert gas. The level variation of the liquid level 17a in the detector 16 caused by the pressure rise in the gas pipe 13 is detected as upward variation of the melt surface level.
