PURPOSE: To provide a calendar interactively edited and improved and capable of applying events to be visually displayed.

CONSTITUTION: A visual calendar 30 allowing events 36, 38, 40, 42 to correspond to a time scale 32 is provided. The size of each event is determined by a frame started from start time and ended at end time which are directly opposed to start time and end time on the time scale 32. A picture scroll through the time scale 32 generates a similar scroll passing events or its reverse scroll. A change within the start or end time generates a change in the size of an event frame and a change on a position adjacent to the time scale 32. In an example, the time scale 32 is provided with a current time display device 46. The time scale 32 is automatically scrolled forward in accordance with the progress of current time.
