Abstract:
To provide a method and device for dividing glass which can increase a processing speed and improve the quality of processed end faces.
When a scribing line formed on the front surface of the glass sheet by a glass cutter wheel is irradiated with lasers, both sides of the scribing line are irradiated with several pairs of beam spots and these beam spot themselves are moved in synchronization with or follow up to the movement of a glass cutter preceding thereto.
