Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DRYING LIQUID-CONTAINING WASTE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011153810
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method and a device for drying liquid-containing waste which compress small amount of liquid-containing waste by applying high surface pressure to the liquid-containing waste within a hollow part of a press cylinder, perform solid liquid separation in a filterless structure to obtain solid of a low liquid-containing ratio, then, send the solid of the low liquid-containing ratio to a drying cylinder communicated with the hollow part of the press cylinder for drying, enable decline in the liquid-containing ratio and can perform drying of the small amount of the liquid-containing waste.

In the drying method of the liquid-containing waste, after the powdery or granular liquid-containing waste including large amount of liquid such as moisture is charged to inside of the hollow part of the press cylinder 1, a filtering piston 4 capable of advancing/retracting within the hollow part of the press cylinder 1 and forming a minute clearance with the inner face of the hollow part of the press cylinder 1 is operated to compress the liquid-containing waste. Liquid generated by the compression is discharged to outside of the press cylinder 1 via the minute clearance, and the liquid-containing waste from which liquid is removed appropriately is sent to a hollow part of the drying cylinder 7 communicated with the hollow part of the press cylinder 1 to dry the liquid-containing waste from which the liquid is removed in the hollow part appropriately, so as to further reduce the liquid-containing ratio.
