Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EVALUATING ENVIRONMENT ALARM FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3202694
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an unexpected state from occurring by informing the OS in a central processor of an environmental alarm of a fault occurrence and then cutting off the power supply to the information processor after the system is shut down.
SOLUTION: When ON or OFF of a debug flag A31 is set, a power source control part 4 informs the central processor 11 of the set contents. The central processor 11 sets the received contents of the debug flag A31 to a debug flag B15 in a main storage part 13. If an environmental alarm fault occurs thereafter, an environmental alarm detecting circuit 1 detects the state and informs a power source control circuit 5 in the power source control part 4 of the occurrence of a fault through an environmental alarm notification signal line 2. The power source control circuit 5 enters a fixed-time wait state through a timer function of the power source control part 4 and waits for the central processor to shut down the system. This time is long enough to complete the system shutdown process.
