Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for evaluating wear resistance and rock crushing property of crusher parts which can accurately evaluate the wear resistances and rock crushing properties of the cone caves and mantles of actual gyratory crushers and cone crushers. SOLUTION: A device for evaluating wear resistance and rock crushing property of crusher parts is constituted of the upper metal mold 10 of a model which is resemble to the cross-sectional shapes of the rock crushing sections of the cone cave and mantle of a crusher and has a shape which is symmetrical with respect to a loading line and the bottom part 9 which is vibrated by means of a vibrator 2. The load fluctuating width of the bottom part 9 is measured while rocks to be crushed are crushed and the specific abrasion loss which is the weight reducing amount per unit crushing weight of the rocks to be crushed and the grain size of the crushed rocks are found and, at the same time, the relations between the load fluctuating width and specific abrasion loss and between the load fluctuating width and the grain size of the crushed stones are found after crushing. Therefore, the wear resistance and rock crushing property of the crusher parts can be evaluated with high accuracy from these relations.
