PURPOSE: To safety drive an automobile, by lighting one of curve lights on both the sides of the front of the vehicle depending on an electric signal generated according to the rotational angle of the steering wheel of the vehicle in its driving on a curved road, to securely illuminate the road part in front of the vehicle.

CONSTITUTION: A ring 5, which is provided with a protrusion 7 on a part, is mounted at the bottom of a steering wheel 1 concentrically thereto. An arc- shaped signal transmitter 4 is attached to the end of a steering shaft cover 3 which faces the ring 5. Push buttons AWD, which are operated by the protrusion 7 under steering, are fitted at appropriate angular intervals on the signal transmitter 4. Electric signals, which are generated when the buttons AWD are pressed, are transmitted to an electronic controller. The kind and order of the electric signals are found out by electric processing, so that one of curve lights 10, 10' provided on the right and left sides of the front of a vehicle is lighted for a necessary time.
