CONSTITUTION: A device for guiding a paper web in a region of a reader of the web W comprises: a guide means 10 supporting and guiding running of the web by a cooperative blowing F over all width of the web; supporting nozzles 20 and 20a; dryers 21 and 21a and air supporting devices 22, 22a, 25, and 25a. The cooperative foil air supporting device 22a has a curved guide edge 23 and the cooperative foil air supporting device 25a has a curved edge rim 24. The cooperative blowing F seizes an edge rim of the paper web W from the guide edge 23 and further through the edge rim 24 guides the paper web W, which is guided through a free draw WP.
