Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the convergence time and the residual error when an unknown system such as a transmission line and a spatial acoustic coupling path is identified by arranging a coefficient only to a tap of the adaptive filter corresponding to a response waveform part except a fixed delay part of impulse response.
CONSTITUTION: All taps of the adaptive filter in tap position control are divided into plural tap control sub groups, tap numbers to which a coefficient is not allocated at present are dividedly stored corresponding to the tap control sub groups (storage circuit groups 701-70M), the tap control sub group selecting the tap number to which a coefficient is newly arranged is revised according to the sequence and time according to the priority based on the importance of the tap control sub group and the step size when each coefficient is updated is set to the size depending on the importance of the tap control sub group to which the coefficient belongs and the importance is updated sequentially by using the information of the coefficient to which the tap control sub group belongs.
