Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtightness inspecting device and its inspecting method capable of accurately and promptly confirming airtightness of a working glove.
SOLUTION: The airtightness inspecting device 41 is provided with an isolator device 1 with the working glove 30 kept airtight, an inspecting box 42 surrounding the working glove 30 and forming a closed chamber 42a for detection inside, a negative-pressure chamber 43 communicated with an inside of the closed chamber 42a for detection, and a reference measurement chamber 44 having approximately the same capacity as that of the closed chamber 42a for detection, with a reference hole 49a of 80 μm being formed to introduce purified outside air into a measurement chamber, communicated with the inside of the negative-pressure chamber 43. Inner pressure of the negative-pressure chamber 43 is set to -2 kPa, a quantity of flowing-out air naturally flowing out of the isolator device 1 to the negative-pressure chamber 43 through the closed chamber 42a for detection is measured and the quantity of reference air naturally flowing out to the negative-pressure chamber 43 of -2 kPa through the reference hole 49a of the reference measurement chamber 44 is measured. The quantity of the flowing-out air and the quantity of the reference air are compared with each other to confirm the airtightness of the working glove 30.
