Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and positively inspect the presence or absence of the damage of a large-diameter part by retaining a part at an inspection position in a pipeline, guiding a fluid for inspection into the space between the large-diameter part of the part and a pipeline inner wall, and detecting the fluid pressure in the space.
SOLUTION: A spool 20 is carried toward the upper portion of a pipeline 74, is dropped into a pipeline 74 while the same side is constantly directed downward by a direction control mechanism 78, and is sent to an inspection station 80. An upper side support plate 150 projecting into a block 130 supports the spool 20, and a lower support plate 148 is separated from the inside of a block 130. A rotary shaft 142 is rotated by a second motor 140, and a lower support plate 148 is moved into the block 130 by a first cam means 144. The upper support plate 150 is separated from the inside of the block 130 by a second cam means, and the spool 20 is dropped onto the lower support plate 148 and is supported. An air for inspection is introduced from an air nozzle 86 into a space 84 between large-diameter parts 68a and 68b of the spool 20 and an inner wall 74a of the pipeline 74, and the pressure in the space 84 is measured by a pressure sensor 88 for judging to see if the pressure is within a reference range.
