Abstract:

To provide an inspection device for accurately inspecting the number and positions of spot weld parts formed on a workpiece.

The inspection device 10 for inspecting the weld parts 12 comprises a laser sensor 22 provided on a robot arm 21, a control part 23 for moving the laser sensor 22 along the surface of the workpiece 11, a determination part 24, and a display device 25 and the like. The determination part 24 irradiates a laser beam toward the surface 11a of the workpiece from the laser sensor 22 while moving the laser sensor 22 to the workpiece 11 at a constant speed, and detects a distance from the laser sensor 22 to the workpiece 11 on the basis of the reflection light. The determination part finds a change amount of the distance from the laser sensor 22 to the workpiece 11 by differentiating the detected waveform. When a threshold exceeds the change amount, the determination part determines that the spot weld part 12 exists on a part irradiated with the laser beam.
