Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power used in a name change system by deciding the relative elapsed time of a name change entry stored in a wrap-around array.
SOLUTION: A register name change management system is provided with an architecture type condition register 100 and further provided with a first name change register 112, a second name change register 114, a third name change register 116, a final name change register 118 and a name change register array 110 as well. In this case, a register entry is stored in the plural architecture type registers 100 and the name change entry is stored in the name change register array 110 which is the wrap-around array. Then, the register or the name change entry is transferred between the name change register array 110 and the architecture type register 100 in response to the relative elapsed time of the name change entry. Further, the relative elapsed time of the name change entry stored in the wrap-around array is decided.
