Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device and a method for automatically fabricating a polishing disc in which a number of polishing sheets of specified length are arranged radially on one surface of a base board.
CONSTITUTION: Polishing sheets in the form of tape are wound on pulleys 11 and are in advance arranged radially. These sheets are fed to the center by a feeding means 3. A base board of a polishing disc is placed in the center of a table 1 using a conveying means, and the polishing sheets are pressed to the base board by a press 2, adhered, and cut into specified lengths by a cutter.
