Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a novel economic method for manufacturing a plastic substance layer containing a polyurethane as a base at a quick velocity by reaction injection molding aliphatic diisocyanate and polyol on a support, then passing it through a catalytic atmosphere containing a tertiary amine, and polymerizing the layer. CONSTITUTION: A reactive mixture of an aliphatic diisocyanate component and a polyol component is reactively injection molded on a support or sprayed out of a catalytic atmosphere, and then passed through the atmosphere containing at least one type of tertiary amine to expedite polymerization of the formed layer. The passage of the layer is executed for a time of 0 to 15 min after passing a time corresponding to adherence of the mixture onto the support. If the polymerizing layer has a thickness of 0.1 mm or more, the passage of the layer through the atmosphere is executed in the case that the layer is raised at least 80 deg.C. If the atmosphere is represented by a volumetric ratio of the air and the amine mixture, it is made of a mixture of the air of a concentration of 0.1 vol.% or more and the tertiary amine. The suitable tertiary amine is, for example, a triethylamine or the like.
