PURPOSE: To efficiently manufacture a layered material by pressing a first supplied single plate under a condition supported from upward from under a newly supplied single plate by a fusing means.
CONSTITUTION: A first single plate 1A is supplied, in a standby condition upward by a lower stile 5, to carry in a machine a single plate 1B by a conveyer 4, and to stop the conveyer 4 after positioning. Thereafter, the conveyer 4 is lifted to an inserting position of an upper stile 6, to insert it to an upper position of the single plate 1A. Successively, the lower stile 5 is extracted to lift the conveyer 4 to a fusing level. The fusing level is a position where a protruding part of the single plate 1B on the conveyer is brought into contact with a plane part of the single plate 1A to support it by the upper stile 6 stabilized. In this condition, a fusing pin 10 is lifted and lowered down, to penetrate a contact part of the single plates 1A, 1B fused. Consequently, a layered material of a thermoplastic synthetic resin soft and easy to flex can be manufactured without distortion.
