To provide a method and a device for manufacturing a wire element not causing winding irregularities at the time of traverse turn in taking up without restraining a high speed performance of a manufacturing processing facility.
A speed of a manufacturing line of a wire element 1 is made constant, so as to lower a take-up speed in a period after and before a traverse turn. The wire element 1 not taken up during this period is accumulated to an accumulator 20 installed at a front stage of a winding machine 30, and then the take-up speed is increased, so that the wire element accumulated to the accumulator 20 is recovered by a take-up bobbin 31. Thereafter, the wire element is wound at a constant take-up speed coincident with the manufacturing line speed of the wire element. These steps are repeated in this manufacturing method. This manufacturing device has the accumulator 20 coping with increase and decrease of the take-up speed between a pulling capstan 10 and the winding machine 30.
