Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for measuring a bubble diameter distribution capable of accurately measuring a bubble diameter distribution of fine bubbles.SOLUTION: Fine bubbles in a liquid sample are spread in the air by centrifugation. Solid and liquid particulates in the liquid sample remain in the liquid sample even after the centrifugation. Thus, the liquid sample contains the fine bubbles, and the solid and liquid particulates before the centrifugation but only the solid and liquid particulates after the centrifugation. Therefore, on the basis of data on particle size distributions in the liquid sample before and after the centrifugation, a bubble diameter distribution of the fine bubbles contained in the liquid sample can be accurately measured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
