PURPOSE: To speed up the measurement of the attenuation quantity of a crosstalk in a nearby terminal by setting the multiple pairs of cores to be guide lines, measuring the multiple pairs with a pair as guided lines and setting the other ends of the core lines to be open at that time.
CONSTITUTION: The plural lines 2A, 2B,... and 2N are collectively connected to an oscillator 1 to be the guide lines. The guided lines 5 are made one lines as they are, and a level meter 4 measures the attenuation quantity of the crosstalk. At that time, the other ends of the respective lines are set open as they are. When a value measured by the level meter 4 is within the range of a prescribed standard value, the combination becomes satisfactory. Then, one line among the plural lines 2A, 2B,...2N is set to be the guided line again and the guide lines are constituted by the plural remaining lines. Then, similar measurement is repeated and propriety is judged. When the measurement value of the level meter 4 is out of the standard value, the combination becoming defective is measured by setting the guide lines and the guided lines to be 1:1 again.
