Abstract:
To enable the easy insertion of a rod into the ground at the time of measuring the strength of a hard ground and to measure the strength of the hard ground according to its depth.
In this strength measuring method for hard ground, the strength of the ground is measured by thrusting a rod 9 equipped with a cone 1 at its tip into the ground while discharging water from the rod 9. In this strength measuring device, space for the passage of a cord 2 for electric information and water w is provided in the rod 9 with the cone at its tip, a water discharging hole 20 is provided at a lower part of the rod 9, and a rod thrusting device 13 is provided at an upper part of the rod 9.
