1478830 Mixing concrete CATERPILLAR TRACTOR CO 28 April 1976 [28 Aug 1975] 17248/76 Heading B1C Concrete ingredients including water in excess of the stoichiometric amount are agitated under a reduced pressure which is applied until a predetermined amount of the excess water is removed by evaporation. An apparatus may consist of a vehicle mixer having a rotatable drum 10 with fixed internal agitating blades 14. The drum is closed by a cover 20 having a part 24 connected to a vacuum pump 30.
