Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MOLDING OF TWO PIECE CAN BODIES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5514181
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To considerably increase production efficiency by reducing the axial direction stress distributions in the combined stresses of axial direction stresses and radial direction stresses at the time of producing two piece pipes through deep drawing and ironing by means of a male die tool and plural female die tools.

CONSTITUTION: Tapers A, B are provided to a male die tool (punch). While the length LA of A is made LA= H-L0(1+R/100) at the can height H, the rate of ironing by the male die tool (die) R and the distance between the final die and die before the final L0, the portion after the tape A is made the straight part C of the outside diameter corresponding to the inside diameter of the two piece can body. The one wherein the reverse taper D which becomes the small diameter up to the outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the flange on the inner side of the can in succession to C and the taper B in succession to the latter are made equal to the inside diameter of the flange on the inner side of the can mouth at the intermediate part, 10 mm or over in length, 0.1μ/1mm to 0.35μ/1mm in the degree of taper, and 0.02 to 0.08μ in the roughness of the outside circumferential surface, is used.
