Abstract:
To detect the occurrence of creep deformation of a cross tie-rod in a coke oven.SOLUTION: A method of monitoring a cross tie-rod arranged in a coke oven is characterized by detecting the occurrence of creep deformation by carrying out a measurement using temperature measurement means for measuring a temperature of the cross tie-rod or using length measurement means for measuring a length of the cross tie-rod, and analyzing the measurement result on the basis of a temperature history of the cross tie-rod or a length variation history of the cross tie-rod accumulated through the measurement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
