Abstract:
To detect a parameter related to the prostate of a patient.
In this method for detecting the parameter related to the prostate of the patient (2), an integrated diagnosis support system performs the following steps. A first risk characteristic value (12) related to the prostatic disease is found based on a screening method (8) and, when the first risk characteristic value (12) exceeds a first threshold (14), at least a second risk characteristic value (18) related to the prostatic disease and its location are found based on a method (16) for supplying a medical image of the patient (2). An integrated report system outputs at least one of the risk characteristic values (12 and 18) and/or the location as the parameter.
