PURPOSE: To provide a work positioning method wherein even when no positioning hole is formed in a work, accurate positioning can take place and various kinds of works are positioned.

CONSTITUTION: Positioning members 13 and 14 are respectively fixed to two more fixing parts selected from a number of fixing parts 10 formed in tables 2, 3, and 4. A work W is pressed until the work W on the tables 2, 3, and 4 are forced into contact with all of the positioning members 13 and 14. Since the positioning members are fixed to the two or more fixing parts selected from a number of the fixing parts, various kinds of the works are accurately positioned by varying the fixing position of the positioning members according to the shape and the size of the work.
