PURPOSE: To provide the method and device for enabling operations according to a simple guidance without reading and operating individually prepared manual or displaying the guidance on an individually provided device at each input terminal.

CONSTITUTION: An input terminal 1 is provided with an operation start activating part 9 for starting operations and transmitting terminal information, operated result detecting part 8 for detecting the operated result, display device 11 for displaying the guidance, input device 12 and transmitter/receiver 6 for connecting a line, and a guidance center 2 is provided with a terminal identification activating part 13 for identifying a guidance requesting terminal, operated result analyzing part 21 for analyzing the operated result of the terminal, data base access part 22, guidance editing part 10 for storing and outputting the guidance information of the guidance requesting terminal, transmitter/receiver 7, and data base 3 storing the guidance information of various input terminals.
