Abstract:
PURPOSE: To more exactly detect a specified original by preventing the specified original from being erroneously decided.
CONSTITUTION: When deciding whether an input image is the specified original (a specified original A, for example,) or not, the input image signal is compared with color tone distribution information (A) expressing a specified image and at the same time, it is also compared with other color tone distribution information (a) equipped with wide color tone distribution while including that color tone distribution information (A) (the relation of (A)<(a) is established in this case.) Then, by calculating the AND of the two compared results, it is finally decided whether that input image is the specified image or not.
