Abstract:

To provide a lens machining information processing method that can determines whether a machined lens has different curvature radius on a refraction surfaces on the front side and the rear side and can freely set a position at which the machined lens drops onto a grinding surface according to the lens, a lens machining information processing device, and method and device for grinding the lens using the processing method.

The lens machining information processing method inputs surface curve information of the refraction surfaces on the front side and the rear side of the machined lens L, compares the inputted surface curve information of the refraction surfaces between the front side and the rear side, determines the refraction surface with larger curvature radius, and sets a predetermined position on the grinding wheel surface side of a rough grinding wheel (grinding wheel) 12 corresponding to the end of the refraction surface with the larger curvature radius as a reference position for starting grinding. The lens machining information processing device, and method and device for grinding the lens using the processing method are provided.
