Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for producing compensator for radiation exposing device, with which production is facilitated and costs are reduced.
A mold body composed of the bundle of a large number of rods capable of moving back and forth in the lengthwise direction is inserted to a frame, the forward/backward moving amount of each of rods in the lengthwise direction is controlled, and a mold surface is formed in a desired form on the end face of the rods. The mold surface is covered with a heated and softened sheet capable of heating molding and the compensator is constituted by hardening and molding the sheet tightly to the mold surface while reducing pressure in the space between the mold surface and the sheet.
