PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cylindrical rubber sheet in which an unvulcanized rubber sheet is not deformed and the right amount thereof is wound on a cylindrical die and even the comparatively thin rubber sheet is not wrinkled during work and to provide a device therefor.
SOLUTION: In a method for producing the cylindrical rubber sheet, a cylindrical die 1 is rotatably supported by horizontally holding its center shaft. A rubber sheet 10 guided by a carrying roll 7 is lowered to the position of a contact bonding plate 4 along a guide plate 2 having an air sliding function. The low end part of the rubber sheet 10 is press-fixed to the outer circumference of the cylindrical die 1 by the contact bonding plate 4 and thereafter a stitcher roll 6 is pressed in contact therewith. Successively, while sending the rubber sheet 10 by the carrying roll 7, the cylindrical die 1 is rotated to wind the rubber sheet 10 of prescribed length. Thereafter, the rubber sheet is stuck and fixed to the guide plate 2 and horizontally cut by a cutting means. Furthermore, after the cylindrical die 1 is rotated, the stitcher roll 6 is released.
