To provide a method for producing dichroic minute droplets and dichroic fine particles obtained therefrom by use of a production device for minute droplets capable of efficiently performing large-scale production of the minute droplets at lower cost and using minute flow passages.
This method for producing the dichroic minute droplets is a method for producing the minute droplets by the minute droplet production device using the minute flow passages and through-holes. The device has the minute flow passages formed in the planar direction of a substrate for supplying a first and second dispersed phases to the through-holes. In the method, the first dispersed phase and the second dispersed phase are joined in the through-hole parts or the minute flow passages just before them, and next, the joined first dispersed phase and second dispersed phase are pressed into a chamber filled with a continuous phase on an opening part side of the through-holes filled with the continuous phase to produce the minute droplets. The first dispersed phase and the second dispersed phase have hues different from each other, and the generated droplets are composed of the first dispersed phase and the second dispersed phase.
