Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding apparatus capable of positioning a sheet to be folded in half with two opposite sides against the end stop, thereby solving the problem that when a known folding apparatus is used, the fold is never positioned perfectly in the center and deviations of one to a few millimeters occur.SOLUTION: A folding apparatus 1 for folding a sheet in half is configured to include: a baseplate 2 with end stops 7a, 7b, 7c for aligning the sheet to be folded; and a pressing element 3 which is movable with respect to the baseplate 2 to enable the sheet to be folded in half, and which is placed with two opposite sides against the end stops 7a, 7b, 7c, by bringing the pressing element 3 to the baseplate 2 to make such a fold.
