PURPOSE: To produce emulsified liq. continuously by mixing particles of the dispersed phase liq. sprayed from a rotary atomizing head with the continuous phase liq. flowing down in the form of film-like liquid flow in an emulsifying tank.

CONSTITUTION: Continuous phase liq. is supplied into an emulsifying tank 1 so as to flow downward along the inside surface thereof in the form of film-like liq. flow, thereby forming thin films. Dispersion liq. is supplied to a rotary atomizing head 12 which is kept rotated by application of prescribed voltage, whereby said liq. is electrostatically atomized to dispersed phase particles. The dispersed phase particles are sprayed into the continuous phase liq. in the tank 1 to disperse the dispersed phase particles in the continuous phase liq., whereby the emulsified liq. is prepd. Thus the emulsified liq. having high homogeneity is produced continuously in large volume, and the rate of pulverizing for the dispersed phase liq. is controlled by the number of revolutions of the rotary atomizing head.
