Abstract:
To divides image data obtained by picking up an image of a plate material into matrixes and to recognize at least one of a processable area except a punched hole and an unprocessable area including the punched hole by using the matrixes.
An image of the plate material W is picked up by at least one camera 30 having a proper number of pixels and the obtained data of the plate material are divided into a specific number of matrixes m*n less than the pixels and then binarized by the pixels. The binarized image data are counted by the matrixes to compute at least one of the processable area except the punched hole and the unprocessable area including the punched hole.
