Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device for removing toner from transfer paper capable of recycling the transfer paper by removing a toner image from both faces of the transfer paper having both faces where the images have been formed and reducing the possibility that the transfer paper where the image is left without being removed is inadvertently recycled.
CONSTITUTION: The transfer paper being a processed object from a paper feeding unit 1 is held by a paper holding drum 601. After supplying water solution to the transfer paper by a coating roller 207, toner is removed by a peeling belt 308. When processing for one face is finished, the transfer paper is temporarily separated from the drum 601 and allowed to pass through a circulating path to reverse a front face to a rear face, then it is held by the drum 601 with its other surface outside so as to remove the toner. The existence of the unremoved image is detected by a CCD 603b on a carrying path and the transfer paper having the unremoved image on both faces is stored in a 3rd paper ejecting tray 501c and the transfer paper having the removed image only on its one face is stored in a 2nd paper ejecting tray 501d separately.
