Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SETTING PARAMETER OF EQUALIZER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3737156
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform automatic setting by rectifying output signals by a full- wave rectifier, integrating the output signals of the full-wave rectifier in an integrator and setting the parameter of an equalizer so as to maximize the level of integrated signals in prescribed integration time or minimize integration time for the fixed maximum level of the integrated signals.
CONSTITUTION: The output side of a first comparator is connected to the first input side of a microprocessor MP and the first output side of the microprocessor MP is connected to the input side of a D/A converter. The output side of the D/A converter is connected to the second input side of the first comparator. The output side of the parameter of the processor MP is connected to the input side of the parameter of the equalizer E. In this case, in order to set the parameter of the equalizer E, the output signals of the equalizer E are amplitude-normalized first and then rectified in the full-wave rectifier G. The integrator I integrates the rectified output signals of the full-wave rectifier G. Then, the processor MP sets the parameter to the equalizer so as to maximize the output level of the integrator I in the prescribed integration time.
