PURPOSE: To perform the ventilation and drying of clothing as performing smoothing extending over the whole clothing, to wash the clothing uniformly and completely, and to dry it in a state where a wrinkle is smoothed by supplying intermittent rotary motion of normal/reverse rotation to the rotary center axis of a clothing hanger, and performing the smoothing of suspended clothing with a force of inertia in the normal/reverse rotation.

CONSTITUTION: The normal/reverse rotation is performed by switching two wires of a speed control motor by the switching of a relay in a normal/reverse rotation control circuit. Thereby, when the rotary main spindle of the hanger is rotated by repeating the intermittent rotary motion of 90°, normal rotation-stoppage of -45°, reverse rotation-stoppage of -90°, and normal rotation, the clothing suspended on the hanger is pulled in a moment from the lower side as trying the lower terminal part of the whole width of the clothing to advance in a rotating direction in a moment when rotation is stopped by the force of inertia. Adversely, in a moment when the rotation is started, the force of inertia functions on a lower terminal side in a direction to pull downward trying to keep it at a ceasing state at that position. Thereby, it is possible to perform the inside and outside smoothing of the clothing to be dried uniformly without being affected by a centrifugal force as performing the rotation, and also, to perform sufficient smoothing on the inside and outside of the clothing uniformly.
