To solve problems in a conventional vibration suppressing device for carried object wherein since the carried object is a part of a carrying means and not a carried object and a control system is formed without considering the energy of the carried object at resonance frequency, the vibration of the carried object carried by a carrying means cannot be suppressed earlier.
In this method of suppressing the vibration of the carried object carried by the carrying means in a drive system for suppressing the vibration of the carried object following the restriction of the control input and state of the drive system of the carrying means and a variation in resonance frequency, a target value used is shaped so that the position of the carried object can follow up the target value as early as possible, the vibration of the carried object near the resonance frequency in a pre-set frequency range can be suppressed, and the control input and the state quantity can be controlled to restricted levels or below.
